This is a vintage sculpture of a Native American woman and child by artist
Vaughn Kendrick.
Indian Woman and Child Statue Universal Statuary 1976 referred to as the "Squaw & Papoose" sculpture.
The piece depicts a Native American woman weaving a basket while a child is in a papoose on her back.
The statue measures approximately 11" high, 9" deep, and 8.5" wide.
This piece is in very good almost perfect condition. There are no cracks or crazing. There is some discoloration from its age inside the pot the mother is weaving.
